The openers sound fits right in with Sevendust and they were the perfect start of the night for the room filled with die-hard fans that have been around for most of the band’s journey. They sounded great and did a wonderful job of getting the crowd warmed up.

Before the stars of the night, the crowd also got the treat of 10 Years. Despite their band name, they have been around for over twenty years and have made quite a name for themselves. As vocalist Brian Vodinh said, poking fun of their band name, they have been playing with Sevendust much longer than ten years. With being a band and playing live for so many years, they are masters of their craft. They sound just like their albums, not missing a beat or note and have stage presence to match the song. The crowd was clearly fans of them as well, the room filled cheers as they played such hits like “Wasteland” and “Fix Me”.

Next up, it was time for Sevendust. Most people who like rock or metal music, know who Sevendust is. The band has made a name for themselves and are well-known and respected in this scene of music. A treat for any long time fan to say the least, the band played the album in it’s entirety and in order.

The crowd was screaming and cheering, vocalist Lajon Witherspoon owned the stage and instantly got the fans involved. Between songs there was heartfelt moments, thanking the other bands for joining them, and calling the fans in the room family. Lajon’s words have an air of authenticity to them that you can’t fake, it was obvious how much the fans meant to him and he was honored to be celebrating twenty-one years of their hit album Seasons.

The band surprised the crowd with a three song encore which included more hit songs off other albums. After this long playing live, they have become masters of their craft and put on a hell of a show. Sevendust sounds great, they bring the energy, and it’s felt throughout the room.
