Chris showed the crowd that he is well deserving of these special nominations with his great talent. This monster set of songs he and his bandmates performed was absolutely amazing. The setlist he performed was full of originals and popular cover songs. Some of Chris’ originals that were played included, “Same Old Places”, “Shot At Your Heart” and “Somebody New” which was just added to Spotify’s playlist of (fresh finds top 100). The covers that were played were absolutely done perfectly, He covered monster hits such as “Chicken Fried” (Zac Brown Band), “Dust In The Bottle”(David Lee Murphy) and “Tennessee Whiskey” (Chris Stapleton) . The crowd at the small Country Bar was completely blown away by the talent this rising star has. Chris was really getting the crowd up and out of their seats dancing and singing along. The vibe is the building was nothing short of special. A few of the songs that were played like, “Fast Car” (Tracy Chapman) has over one million streams and climbing on Spotify. Also his original song “Used To This” also having close to one million Spotify streams as well, Which was a crowd favorite. During Chris’ set he had a common request which was none other than “I Remember You” a (Skid Row) classic which Chris had recently released it as a single. Throughout the night the crowd had been increasing by the minute. During a small break Chris had notice a familiar face in the crowd, Former Boston and current Nashville native Lyssa Coulter. Which he had later ask to come on stage and sing a duet with him. Lyssa of course agreed and the two began to play “Mr. Brightside”(The Killers) the two absolutely nailed it. This was something the hometown fans really enjoyed, seeing two of Boston’s own killing it on stage. Chris had also later in the evening brought on stage another fellow Nashville friend Chris Ruediger and began to sing (Morgan Wallen’s) “Whiskey Glasses”.
