Lee Brice weathers the storm in New England to play at Mohegan Sun Arena in front of a packed house.Ten Years after the release of his first album, music listeners likely think they have a good idea about who Lee Brice really is.  Lee Brice has been nominated by the CMA Awards seven times and has nine #1 hit singles.  Some of his most known hits include “Crazy Girl,” “One of Them Girls,” and “I Hope You’re Happy Now.” He has collaborated with other vocalist for a few of these hit singles. Lee Brice has recorded with other artists which include, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, and Jerrod Niemann.
Lee Brice has a strong following and that was known as soon as he walked out on stage. The audience was screaming and cheering when the tune of his first song started playing. He enjoys getting the crowd involved in his music.
This would be his first concert since the pandemic began two years ago.
During his set he stopped and played a song he wrote about his college girlfriend. He went on to describe the setting, the time, the place and how he came to write his first cut. “More then A Memory.”  He explained that this song was written originally by him but one of his heros Garth Brooks recorded it. This song was the first to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Chart in 2007. During this song the audience was singing the words along with Lee. A few moments during the song you could only hear the audience singing and Lee stopped to listen to them sing. It was quite a moment for Lee. The fans were screaming and yelling “We love you Lee!”  The fans were overzealous when “Crazy Girl” was played. The fans were singing and jumping to one of their favorite songs.
