The fans were not ready for this performance. He came out on the stage with an extraordinary amount of energy. He was running, jumping, high kicking, and cheering. The fans felt it and started to join in. They were loving seeing him having the best time of his life on the stage in front of him. He was laughing and having a great time. The fans were jumping in their seats singing along.

His set was a mix of his music along with some of the stuff off his 2020 album. He put on a great show and really got the fans energized and ready for the final two acts to perform.

Next act up for the night was American Christian nu metal band formed in 1992 and based out of San Diego, CA P.O.D. The band’s line-up consists of vocalist Paul Joshua “Sonny” Sandoval, bassist Mark “Traa” Daniels, lead guitarist Marcos Curiel, and drummer Noah “Wuv” Bernardo. They have sold over 12 million records worldwide.

The band’s name, Payable on Death (P.O.D.), derives itself from the banking term “Payable on Death”. The band chose this name to be a direct tie in with the Christian theology that explains that since Jesus died on the Cross, Christians’ debts to God have been paid; in other words all believers, in their acceptance that Jesus was sacrificed for them on God’s behalf, have inherited eternal life. P.O.D.’s style has evolved over the years, from the rap metal sound on their early albums to the nu metal and reggae-infused alternative metal styles for which they’re most well known. The band’s seventh album, When Angels & Serpents Dance, is a combination of alternative rock, reggae rock and Latin-influenced metal with almost none of the rap metal or nu metal sound of their older releases. P.O.D.’s influences include Boogie Down Productions, Run-DMC, U2, the Police, Bad Brains, Santana, Metallica, AC/DC, Suicidal Tendencies, Bob Marley, Primus, Earth, Wind & Fire, 24-7 Spyz, and Steel Pulse.

They released Veritas, their first studio album in six years and the first album without Bernardo, on May 3, 2024. In February 2024, the band announced the I Got That Tour supporting Veritass release, which will run from April 26 to June 2 and will be headlined by Bad Wolves, Norma Jean and Blind Channel.

They came on stage and started playing “Drop.” As soon as the fans heard this they were on their feet screaming and jumping. The band came out with energy and ready to party. They continued with one of their popular songs “Boom.” The fans knew this and were singing along with their hands in the air and cheering. They were loving seeing them live. They continued their set with “Murdered Love,” and “Satellite.” The band was getting the crowd pumped and wanting more. The next set of songs included,  “I Won’t Bow Down,” “Youth of A Nation,” and “Southtown.” The fans were jamming to the songs and when they knew the words they were screaming them back to the band.

They finished their set with their biggest hits “Afraid To Die,” and “Alive.” The fans wanted more, they were cheering and screaming. They put on an amazing show and if you haven’t seen them you need to do so. They are a great talented group of guys that come to do what they love and share it with their fans.

Finally, the band that fans one and all came to see. This was none other then American heavy metal band from Peoria, IL Mudvayne. Known for their sonic experimentation, face and body paint, masks and uniforms, the band has sold over six million records worldwide, including nearly three million in the United States.

Guitarist Greg Tribbett was forced to miss tonight’s concert due to a family emergency. Playing all guitar parts at the show was their second guitarist, Marcus Rafferty, who has been joining the band on the road to fill out the sound. Rafferty is a veteran guitar technician who has previously worked with LAMB OF GOD, HATEBREED, SAXON, FOZZY and MUDVAYNE. He also spent time as a guitar tech and stage manager for HELLYEAH, and MUDVAYNE singer Chad Gray co-founded in 2006 with Tribbett alongside late PANTERA drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott.

The group consists of guitarist Greg Tribbett, drummer Matthew McDonough, lead vocalist Chad Gray, and bassist Ryan Martinie. The band became popular in the late-1990s Peoria underground music scene, and they found success with the single “Dig” from their debut album L.D. 50. On April 19, 2021, Mudvayne announced that they had reunited and would play their first shows in 12 years in the fall, which included festival appearances at Incarceration’s Music & Tattoo in Mansfield.

Mudvayne is noted for its musical complexity complex meters and polyrhythms. The band’s music contains “number symbolism”, where certain riffs correspond to lyrical themes. Mudvayne has incorporated elements of death metal, jazz,  jazz fusion, progressive rock, speed metal, thrash metal and world music.
As the band was coming onto the stage they had a introduction playing “Minolith” through the venue speakers. The band walked on stage in the dark as the song was playing. Once the song ended the lights came on and they started playing the chords to their first song “Dull Boy.” As soon as the audience heard the first riff they were screaming and cheering. This was what they came to see. The band was upset that the venue only had seats as they are used to venues that have “Pit” areas for the fans to do some moshing and growing a pit. They still wanted the fans to get off their feet and jump around.

They continued with “Not falling,” and “-1.” Gray was in the faces of the fans getting them fired up and ready to party the night away. They were at a casino so they knew they would be enjoying themselves. The next songs included, “Silenced,” “Severed,” and “Death Bombs.” The continued to play other hit songs and the fans were singing and throwing their fists in the air.

Their set was coming to an end. They finished it out with their biggest hits songs, “Nothing to Gein,” “Happy,” and “Dig.” The fans were hyped to hear these songs and were more energized than before. They were loving every minute of the bands performance. They are a great group of guys and if you have not seen them you need to go to one of their shows. They put on a great show, even without a pit.
