Tyler Hubbard With Special Guest Alana Springsteen At House Of Blues Boston

On a crisp night in Boston, fans were lined up on Lansdowne Street waiting to get into the House to Blues to get a glimpse of Tyler Hubbard playing in a solo act with special guest Alana Springsteen.

First act of the evening was rising country-pop artist Alana Springsteen. Known for her powerful vocals and relatable songwriting, Springsteen has garnered a loyal following, and it’s easy to see why. This performance marked one of the highlights of her current tour, showcasing her vocal range, emotional depth, and charisma.

Springsteen kicked off the night with “Girl at the Beach,” an upbeat, fun anthem that had the audience singing along from the first chorus. Fans erupted when she played her hit “Caught Up to Me,” a track that’s become a staple on country playlists. Throughout the set, Alana seamlessly shifted from upbeat, pop-infused bangers to more reflective ballads, like “Slow Down Summer,” where her voice carried a raw emotion that struck a chord with the audience.

A few special moments came when she asked someone in the audience for a backwards hat. Someone gave it to her and she wore that hat for 1 song. Also, she did a toast with a woman from the crowd named Rebecca. Springsteen’s interaction with the crowd was another highlight of the evening. She took moments between songs to talk with fans, sharing personal anecdotes that made the night feel like a shared experience rather than just a show. You could feel the emotional impact as people sang along, some with tear-filled eyes.

Alana Springsteen’s performance was a reminder of her unique presence in country-pop. She’s not only a talented singer and songwriter but also a natural performer who knows how to connect with her audience.

The final act of the evening is an American singer-songwriter, and musician, Tyler Hubbard, best known as a member of the Nashville-based duo Florida Georgia Line.  After that duo went on hiatus in 2021, Hubbard began recording as a solo artist on EMI Nashville. His first solo chart entry was a guest vocalist on Tim McGraw’s “Undivided”, followed by his first solo single “5 Foot 9”, which topped the Billboard Country Airplay charts in 2022. He released his self-titled debut album in 2023.

With a mix of fresh solo hits, fan-favorite FGL classics, and an infectious energy, Hubbard proved he’s not just stepping out from his previous duo—he’s stepping up.

Hubbard opened the night with “Park,” an upbeat anthem that quickly set the tone for a high-energy show. The crowd responded enthusiastically, dancing and singing along to every line. His solo tracks, including “5 Foot 9” and “35’s,” showcased his knack for blending storytelling with catchy melodies. “35’s” had everyone raising their drinks in celebration, while “5 Foot 9” turned into a heartfelt sing-along, with Hubbard himself visibly moved by the response.

Before the song “Hero” Hubbard mentioned that he had gone to visit Boston Children’s hospital and met a little girl named Sarah. He said about her that she was my hero. He was serving food to the kids.

One of the highlights of the night was his performance of “Way Home,” a reflective ballad that stood out for its depth and intimacy. In this quieter moment, Hubbard’s vocals shined, and the audience fell silent, fully engaged. He took time to share stories behind the songs, giving fans a glimpse into his creative process and personal life, making the experience feel both powerful and personal.

Of course, Hubbard didn’t forget his FGL roots. Midway through the set, he treated fans to renditions of “Cruise” and “H.O.L.Y.” The crowd went wild, singing every word. These tracks served as a bridge between his past and present, honoring his time with Florida Georgia Line while demonstrating his evolution as a solo performer.

Hubbard’s connection with his audience was undeniable. He frequently spoke to fans between songs, expressing his gratitude and sharing personal anecdotes.  Fans responded with enthusiasm, hanging onto every word and cheering loudly at every pause.
But Hubbard’s solo material was where he truly shined. With tracks like “Dancin’ in the Country” and “Everybody Needs a Bar,” he brought a fresh, authentic feel to the country genre, blending pop-infused beats with traditional country melodies. These songs revealed his musical evolution, displaying his growth as an artist ready to define himself outside of the duo.

Tyler Hubbard’s solo concert wasn’t just a showcase of his musical abilities—it was an exploration of his personal and artistic identity. From the high-energy anthems to the emotional ballads, his performance proved that he has the charisma, talent, and heart to make it as a solo artist. Fans left the concert with smiles on their faces, buzzing from an unforgettable night with one of country music’s most promising solo acts.
