Klash Of The Titans Tour Hits The Palladium In Worcester, MA

It was a nice clear night at the Palladium in Worcester MA. Fans lined up around the corner early excited for the Klash of Titans to take the stage.

First band of the evening was punk/country metal band from Las Vegas, NV Spirit World. They consist of bassist Nick Brundy, Preston Harper on drums, Randy Moore on lead guitar, Matt Schrum on guitar, and Stu Folsom on vocals.

They have a country look but nothing short of metal. The fans were loving that they were a metal band but were dressed in cowboy hats. They played a short set which the fans really enjoyed. They were singing, dancing and jumping around getting ready for the remainder of the night.

Next band of the evening was American thrash metal band from Daly City, CA Death Angel.  They are considered one of the key bands from the bay area in the 1980’s. They have gone through many band changes over the years with guitarist Rob Cavestany, and vocalist Mark Osegueda (who joined in the early 1980’s) as the only members to be featured on all their albums.

They opened their set with “Lord Of The Hate.” This got the fans energized and pumped. They were jumping, screaming and cheering as the band continued their short set with songs that included, “The Dream Calls For Blood,” and “The Moth.” As their set was nearing the end they sang “Happy Birthday” To Will Carroll on drums. They ended their set with “The Ultra Violence/Thrown To The Wolves.

The next band to hit the stage was German thrash metal band from Essen, Kreator. They consist of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Miland “Millie”Petrozza, Drummer  Jürgen “Ventor” Reil, Lead guitarist Sami Yli-Sirniö, and bassist  Frédéric Leclercq.

They opened their set with one of their newest songs “Hate Über Alles.” They had a black curtain in front of the stage with Kreator in white lettering. As soon as the band started playing it dropped.  They played a mix of songs from old and new which included, “Phobia,” “Enemy Of God,”and  “666-World Divided.” During the song “Flag Of Hate,” they brought out the flag of hate and said it was dedicated to all the old school metal heads. They continued their set with “Satan is Real,” and “Hoards of Chaos.” The fans were on their feet cheering and singing all the words to the songs. They finished out their set with “Violent Revolution” and “Pleasure To Kill,”

The final band of the evening and the one that the fans had come to see was none other then Brazilian heavy metal band from Belo Horizonte Sepultura. The band has had many lineup changes over the years. Their current members consist of Vocalist Derrick Green, guitarist Andreas Kisser, bassist Paulo Jr, and drummer Eloy Casagrande.

They opened their set with “Isolation.” The fans were on their feet and jumping and screaming. There was some crowd surfing at times and mosh pits were formed. They continued with songs which included, “Means To An End,” “Propaganda,””Guardians Of Earth,” and “Ali.”

The time was nearing their end of the set. They continued with some of their biggest hits which included, “Refuse/Resist,” “Arise,” “Ratamahatta” and ended it with the extreme fan favorite “Roots Bloody Roots,”  The fans were pumped and were screaming and cheering and singing along to all the words. They were so excited to be able to see them live and were on their feet the entire time. The band did not disappoint.
