On the 24th anniversary of September 11, iconic Heavy Metal legend Bruce Dickinson came to Boston to The House of Blues with local up and coming stars Zeneth.

The opening act, Zeneth hailing from Johnston, RI brought an electrifying performance that fused raw energy with immersive soundscapes.

From the opening notes, the band created an other worldly atmosphere. The set balanced heavy riffs with melodic depth, showing off both technical skill and emotional intensity.

Each member held their own, from the thunderous drumming to the hypnotic guitar layers that filled the air. Fans responded with unrelenting enthusiasm, singing along, and raising their hands high.

By the time the final song rang out, the room was buzzing, not with silence, but with the demand for more.

The Final performance of the night was from none other then the iconic Bruce Dickinson. He is an English singer who is best known as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden. Dickinson has performed in the band across two stints, from 1981 to 1993 and from 1999 to the present day. He is known for his wide-ranging operatic vocal style and energetic stage presence.

Dickinson quit Iron Maiden in 1993 (being replaced by Blaze Bayley) to pursue his solo career, which saw him experiment with a wide variety of heavy metal and rock styles. He rejoined the band in 1999, along with guitarist Adrian Smith, and has released six subsequent studio albums with the band.

Bruce Dickinson proved once again why he’s one of rock and metal’s greatest frontmen, delivering a show packed with theatrical flair, soaring vocals, and undeniable charisma. From the moment he stormed onto the stage, the energy was electric, and the crowd responded with deafening cheers that never let up.

His setlist balanced new solo material with fan favorites, showcasing both his creative evolution and the powerful voice that defined generations. Every note was delivered with precision and passion, reminding the audience why Dickinson remains one of the most commanding vocalists in the genre.

Between songs, Bruce’s storytelling added a personal and engaging touch—equal parts witty, insightful, and larger-than-life. His connection with the crowd was unmatched, effortlessly turning a concert into a shared experience. The musicianship of his backing band elevated the performance, each member bringing intensity and technical brilliance that complemented Dickinson’s legendary presence.

Highlights included his ability to hold soaring high notes that seemed to defy age, and dramatic stage moments that transformed songs into living stories.

His setlist included songs such as “Laughing  In The Hiding Bush”, “Chemical Wedding,” and then he asked the crowd if he could practice singing the “Star Spangled Banner”. He was due to sing the “Star Spangled Banner” at the Pittsburg Steelers game the following Sunday.

Bruce Dickinson didn’t just perform—he embodied the very spirit of heavy metal. A night with him isn’t just a concert, it’s a celebration of artistry, storytelling, and pure rock passion.

Fans left the venue buzzing, many visibly moved by witnessing a true master at work.
