Tonight the Monster Energy Outbreak tour made its way to Worcester, Ma featuring Three up and coming artists. Zero 9:36, Fame on Fire, and GARZI. This was a more of an intimate setting in a room with a small stage off the side with a maximum capacity of around two hundred.
Miami native Christopher Garzi aka (GARZI) was first up to hit the stage, with a dj playing all the beats and sounds and GARZI with just a microphone, his vocals were quite impactful. The fans that showed up early were really into his unique sound which was a mix Alt/Rock, Emo and Hip Hop. This is the just the fifth stop on GARZI’s first ever tour and already built a fanbase. He played his set while jumping up and down and interacting with fans, during one of his songs he noticed a fan singing every word. He reach out to that fan and asked him if he had ever seen him before, the fan replied three times, this meant the world to him as he had only been on his fifth show. If you can make it out to a show on this tour be sure to get there early and check out GARZI he is definitely a fun treat.
After a quick break Florida’s Fame on Fire was next to perform. They are fairly new to the scene as well. Most people that listened to them would think of them as a cover band. However this is not true. In September of 2020 they released their debut album Levels. They covered a variety of mainstream songs, using their dynamic influences with their own unique sound. First song of the night was one of their original songs, “Plastic Heart.” Their set consisted of eights songs which included a combination of their originals plus a few covers. Some of their originals they played were “Her Eyes,” and ” Not Dead Yet.” They then went on to play One of their covers “Numb” by Linkin Park, which was a hit that the fans sang along to and got moving. Nearing the end of their set they performed “Headspace,” which is one of the biggest songs that they have recorded, featuring Poorstacey. It was now time for Fame on Fire to close out with a cover of “XO Tour Llif3” originally by Lil Uzi Vert. If you can check them out on SiriusXM Octane., They have been included in there Big Uns Countdown multiple times.
Matthew Cullen who is known as Zero 9:36 is a Philadelphia Rock/ Alternative Rock recording artist that is new to the scene and has just started touring only a few months prior. The time was exactly 9:36 pm and Zero 9:36 hit the stage. He came out wearing a Boston Celtics t-shirt. This amped the small crowd which was in a venue not far from Boston. The First few songs he performed were “I’m Not,” and “Leave The Light On”, this got the crowd singing along right from the start.
His choice of songs he performed were mostly Rock based with some rap mixed in here and there, which the fans nowadays are mostly into. He performed fourteen songs in total for the small crowd. He was loving every second because he had mentioned to the fans shortly into the show that he was so stoked to see this many people here, Because he’s here doing what he loves doing. He continued to rock the small room with his powerful vocals. The crowd was enjoying every minute. He rounded out the night with some of his biggest songs “Adrenaline” and “The End”. Once the show was over he mad his way upstairs to be up close and personal to meet the fans in attendance, Taking pictures and signing autographs and didn’t leave until after everyone had left.
