Nickelback and Brantley Gilbert Roll Into The Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA

The Get Rolling Tour hits Xfinity Center as two of the biggest names in country music and rock collaborate for a sold out Rock and Country Crossroad. Fans were privileged to see two genres of music come together for a great night of entertainment.

First up for the evening was Canadian country singer and songwriter from Waterdown, Ontario Josh Ross.  In 2022, he released his single “First Taste of Gone.”  He was in the top eight of the finalist for Sirius XM’s  “Top of The Country” contest.
He released another single “On A Different Night.” In 2023, he released a single “Trouble.” He was named “Rising Star” at the 2023 Country Music Association of Ontario Awards.

He came out on stage and the crowd cheered. He opened his short set with “Tall Boys.” He played as the fans were piling into the venue. The crowd cheered and watched the performance as he got the crowd pumped for the remainder of the evening.
He is an up and coming artist that is talented and the fans were cheering as they saw his talents on stage.

Next up was none other then american country rock singer, songwriter, and record producer from Jefferson, Georgia Brantley Gilbert. In 2021 he released a single “The Worst Country Song of All Time.” which featured the likes of Hardy and Toby Keith. It was followed by a promotional single “Gone But Not Forgotten” in September of 2021.  In 2022 he released another single “Rolex on A Redneck, which featured country singer Jason Aldean.

He came on stage with tons of energy and was ready to get the night going for his performance. He opened with “Kick It in The Sticks.” He got the crowd on their feet. They were cheering and screaming. Throughout his performance he had some pyrotechnics and visual effects that the fans cheered for.
He continued his set with “The Weekend,” “My Kind of Party,” a Colt Ford cover of “Dirt Road Anthem,” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do.”

The fans were feeling the energy from the band and were feeding off that energy by jumping, screaming, and singing along. At this point in the performance was where the band started playing songs that the fans were looking forward to hearing live. They played songs such as, a Hank Williams Jr cover, “A Country Boy Can Survive,” “Country Must Be Country Wide,” “One Hell of An Amen, and “Bottoms Up.”

They then went into a medley of songs before their performance came to a close with “Take It Outside,” and “Read Me My Rights.” This was a great performance put on by a talented artist. The fans were in love with him and the high energy performance they just witnessed.

Finally, the last performers of the evening were Canadian Rock band from Hanna Alberta, Nickleback. They are composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Chad Kroeger, guitarist, keyboardist, back up vocals Ryan Peake, bassist Mike Kroeger, and drummer Daniel Adair. In August of 2022 the band sent letters to students that were attending Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia and stated that were to be invited to attend and participate in a video shoot for their newest single. In August 2022 they released their newest album Getting Rollin. They released their newest single off that album “San Quentin” along with another single “Those Days” which was followed by a music video. They have performed thirty eight tour dates from June 2023-August 2023.

Before the band hit the stage there was an intro playing in the background through the speakers of the venue. As soon as the fans heard this they got to their feet and were screaming and cheering. The band came onto the stage and were starting their opening song “San Quentin.”They continued with a few more songs, “Savin Me” and “Far Away.” After this there was a short interlude playing through the speakers of the venue. The band came out and started playing “Animals.” A few songs later Peake came to the mic to be on vocals for the song “Worthy to Say.”

During the next song “Figured You Out,” the band came out with a cannon that was filled with t-shirts. They were shooting them into the crowd and the crowd was going crazy trying to catch a shirt that was being thrown from the cannons. Fans were jumping and screaming. This got the fans pumped even more.

The next song was a Steve Earle cover “Copperhead Road” that featured Brantley Gilbert and Josh Ross coming back on stage to play with the band. When the crowd saw this they became extatic and were screaming. The energy in the venue was electrifying and the fans were jumping up and down. There was a short interlude again and music was playing through the speakers of the venue.

They continued to play a few more songs and then Kroeger invited a fan from the audience to come on stage and sing “Rockstar.” The fans went crazy and cheered for the guy on stage.
They played a few more songs “Those Days,” and “How You Remind Me” before their encore.

They took a short break and then came back on for their last few songs of the evening. Their last few songs were “Gotta Be Somebody” and “Burn It To The Ground.” The crowd cheered and were wanting more. The band then went off stage and left. This was an amazing night and all the bands were amazing and showed how talented they all are.
