The streets of Boston around the TD Garden were stormed with fans waiting to see Melanie Martinez and her trilogy tour.
First up for the evening was Sofia Isella. She is a talented violinist and a great singer/songwriter. She is new to the music scene. She opened her set with “Hot Gem.” “She went into “Cacao and Cocaine.” Her set was short but she got the crowd up and energized.
She ended her set with “I Looked The Future In The Eyes, Its Mine.” The fans were loving every minute of her set. She had tons of energy and charism.
Next up was American rock band from Chicago, IL Beach Bunny. It was initially a solo project by guitarist and vocalist Lili Trifilio, Beach Bunny became a four-piece band in 2017. The group achieved widespread popularity after their 2018 song “Prom Queen” went viral on TikTok in late 2019. Their 2020 song “Cloud 9” also after went viral on TikTok in 2021.In October 2021 they released the single “Oxygen”. This was followed by the single “Fire Escape” in March 2022, along with the announcement of their sophomore album Emotional Creature, released on July 22, 2022.
